iPhone 15 Heavily Discounted During Flipkart Flagship Sale
As Apple prepares to unveil its iPhone 16 series next month, the iPhone 15 is getting a significant price cut during Flipkart's Flagship Sale. From August 6, the current generation of iPhones has seen substantial discounts on the popular e-commerce platform, making it an opportune moment for buyers to snag a deal.
The iPhone 15, originally launched in September last year, is priced at ₹79,600 on Apple’s official website. However, during the ongoing sale, Flipkart is offering a discount of ₹12,401 on the base variant of the iPhone 15, bringing its price down to ₹65,499. Additionally, buyers can save an extra ₹1,000 by using UPI for their transactions. This means the effective price for the iPhone 15 base model could be as low as ₹64,499.
Flipkart’s sale is also enhanced by its partnerships with ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda (BoB), and Yes Bank. Customers using credit cards or EMI transactions from these banks can benefit from an additional 10 percent instant discount, further reducing the cost of the iPhone 15.
In terms of specifications, the iPhone 15 features a 6.1-inch display and is available in five vibrant colors: pink, yellow, green, blue, and black. While its design closely resembles that of the iPhone 14, it introduces a notable upgrade with the Dynamic Island notch, previously seen on the iPhone 14 Pro models.
Under the hood, the iPhone 15 is powered by Apple’s A16 Bionic chip, an improvement over the A15 Bionic found in the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus. This chip promises enhanced performance and efficiency. The camera system also sees a significant upgrade, with a 48-megapixel primary sensor replacing the previous 12-megapixel dual-camera setup, promising superior low-light performance and improved portrait photography. Apple also highlights that the iPhone 15 offers "all-day battery life," ensuring users can rely on it throughout their busy days.
