iPhone SE 4 Set to Launch in March 2025 with Major Upgrades and Modern Design
According to South Korean news outlet Ajunews, MacRumors reports that Apple is plotting the release of the fourth-generation iPhone SE for March 2025. Furthermore, LG Innotek should begin the mass production of the camera module of the iPhone SE next month, which in turn would mean the affordable model might be released early 2025.
According to LG Innotek, which will provide the front camera module for the newest iPhones, production schedules are being put together three months ahead of time. That would place the iPhone SE 4 in the window for release around March or April of 2025. Bloomberg further says that the Cupertino-based company is also getting the market ready for a smart home display device, preparing a possible joint launch event around the same period.
What's New in iPhone SE 4?
The new iPhone SE is also said to come in a more modern design, replacing the front home button with something more similar to iPhone 14, featuring a notch-like cut in the top middle to fit in the front camera along with Face ID. The new iPhone SE 4 would be therefore the cheapest of the lot with Apple AI. The latter have so far been featured in the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16.

Key Features and Specifications:
- Processor: The Apple iPhone SE 4 will be fortified with the freshly announced A18 chip in the iPhone 16 series, which is much more powerful and efficient.
- Ram and Storage: The new iPhone should have 8GB of RAM, just like iPhone 16 series. Storage should start at 128 GB to outgrow the base storage which was 64 GB in its predecessor.
- Display: Rumored specs for the iPhone SE 4 include a 6.06-inch OLED screen with resolution at 2532x1170 and 800 nits of peak brightness. Backside will have a 60Hz refresh and Ceramic Shield protection.
- Cameras: Camera is likely to feature 48MP sensor at back, and a 12MP sensor on front for better images.
- Battery: from 2,018mAh with the 2022 model, to 3,279mAh
- Charging and Connectivity: USB-C, which it supports rapid charging. Qi2 wireless charging(MagSafe). Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G.
The upgrade in its design, the iPhone SE 4 will be the freshest modern face on Apple's budget range of devices, thus making it feature-dense, most notably at its given price point.
