2025 Jeep Compass EV Leaks: Electric SUV Boasts Rugged Look, 97 kWh Battery

The all-electric version of Jeep's next-gen Compass has been seen on-road testing, marking its near-future European launch. Due to arrive soon, the 2025 Jeep Compass EV boasts a more angular, muscular design and is based on Stellantis' versatile STLA Medium platform, which underpins hybrid and full electric powertrains. Here's what we can reveal.
Bold New Design Language
The third-generation Compass EV takes a tough-looking stance with a strongly boxy silhouette, reduced overhangs, and a redesigned seven-slot grille. Spy photographs show squared-off LED headlights, active cooling shutters on the bumper, and a more sloping roof than the current generation. Carried-over features are squared wheel arches, classic door handles, and aerodynamically slimmer ORVMs.
Within, the cabin is to boast reworked door trims, an updated dashboard, and a center console that includes ambient illumination. Fresh contrast-stitched upholstery and additions to ADAS and connectivity technology are on the cards. While two-screen configurations have not been confirmed, items such as ventilated seats and wireless charging are to continue.
STLA Medium Platform: Power & Flexibility
The Compass EV utilizes Stellantis' STLA Medium architecture, which is common with models such as the Peugeot e-3008 and Opel Grandland. The architecture accommodates ICE, mild hybrid, PHEV, and full electric configurations. The EV model, without an exhaust in spy shots, could have dual battery options (73 kWh and 97 kWh) and a dual-motor configuration providing 325 PS. Top trims are speculated to provide all-wheel drive.
