The search for the best car in the world has its solution in the Kia EV3, which emerged as the 2025 World Car of the Year. The honor was officially announced on April 16, 2025, at the New York International Auto Show where car manufacturers around the world paraded their most recent innovations.

 Kia's Third World Car Award Win

This is Kia's third victory at the World Car Awards. The EV3 has previously won the award for the EV9 in 2024, followed by the Kia Telluride in 2020. Kia continues its stunning record of producing world-renowned vehicles with the EV3's win.

Beat the Best: Battled BMW and Hyundai

The Kia EV3 outclassed two other good contenders for the award—BMW X3 and Hyundai Inster/Casper Electric. Although the three had very good design and performance, the EV3 stood out due to its fashionable look, high-level features, and price, hence winning the judges' hearts.

  • The EV3 fulfilled all these criteria and won over a jury of international automotive experts.
