Kia Seltos Discount Details
Kia Motors, which had launched Seltos in India last year, soon became the talk of the town but is still far behind its archrival Hyundai Creta. Kia is trying to woo customers with hefty discounts on all models of Seltos:
- HTX Diesel: ₹1,93,000 discount
- HTX Plus Diesel iMT: ₹1,99,000 discount
- HTK Diesel iMT : ₹1,87,000 discount
- HTX 1.5L Turbo Petrol : ₹1,98,000 discount
Engine and Performance
The first 1.5L petrol engine powers the Kia Seltos, delivering 114.41 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. However, it can be clubbed with either a 7-step DCT or a manual gearbox. There's also a 1.5L diesel engine for which the company claims will deliver as much as 19.1 km/l.

Kia Seltos Price
Kia Seltos Price begins at Rs 10.90 lakh and goes up to ₹ 20.45 lakh. The Seltos offers wonderful features, but the design and distance may not delight most people. Potential customers are advised to check the car themselves by test driving before buying.

The Kia Seltos introduces premium features like dual TFT screens, wireless charging, ventilated seats and sunroof. The SUV offers good space with 433 liters boot room. It accommodates five passengers extremely comfortably. It is also fitted with 18-inch glossy black alloy wheels.
Competition with Hyundai Creta
With such a high list of features, the Seltos goes behind the sales chart of Hyundai Creta. The three power-train options for the Hyundai Creta are the 1.5L MPi petrol, 1.5L U2 CRDi diesel, and 1.5L turbo GDi petrol. The high-tech features of the Creta include an H-shaped LED DRL, a 10.25-inch display, wireless connectivity, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, and advanced driver assistance systems.
The discounts by Kia are aimed to attract more customers and bridge the gap between the Seltos and its market-leading rival, Creta.
