KTM 200 Duke 2024: KTM India has introduced the refreshed version of the KTM 200 Duke, now equipped with an advanced 5-inch color TFT display. Borrowed from the latest 390 Duke, this new display offers features like turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, enhancing the riding experience. The display comes with bonded glass, ensuring better clarity and durability, and includes a switch cube with a 4-way menu for easy access to various functions, including smartphone connectivity.

Connectivity Features

The upgraded KTM 200 Duke allows riders to connect their smartphones via the KTM Connect app, giving access to navigation, music controls, and call management right from the 5-inch TFT screen. Riders can use the app to enable features like turn-by-turn navigation, track travel data, and monitor essential motorcycle information. The display shows incoming call details, and riders can accept or decline calls using the mode switch on the handlebar. However, for safety, access to the phone’s address book and making outgoing calls while riding is restricted.

Music Control on the Go

Riders can control their smartphone’s music player using a Bluetooth-enabled helmet headset and KTM My Ride. The left handlebar-mounted menu switch allows riders to easily skip tracks or adjust the volume, with track information displayed on the TFT screen. This setup enables seamless access to music without causing distractions while riding.

Supermoto ABS and Customizable Features

The KTM 200 Duke also comes equipped with Supermoto ABS, which allows riders to disable the ABS function on the rear wheel for a more aggressive riding style. Additionally, the TFT display offers the option to adjust shift RPM and limit RPM settings. Depending on the selected settings, the display interface can switch between a dark-themed or orange-themed design. Riders can also customize shortcuts for quick access to specific functions while riding.

Pricing and Availability

The updated KTM 200 Duke is priced at ₹2,03,412 (ex-showroom, Delhi), reflecting an increase of around ₹5,000 from the previous model. Despite the advanced features, there are no mechanical changes to the bike. The new TFT display and connectivity options, however, make the updated KTM 200 Duke an exciting proposition for riders seeking more tech-savvy features.
