Mahindra BE 6e & XEV 9e: Smart Parking and Futuristic EVs Launching Soon!

Mahindra Auto is gearing up to roll out its much-awaited launches - the BE 6e and XEV 9e electric SUVs that promise cutting-edge features, well, including an industry-first remote parking system in the mainstream Indian car segment.

Remote Parking at the Touch of a Button

BE 6e and XEV 9e are prepared to offer a revolutionary feature of remote parking. This is a system allowing one to move the car forward or backward by use of a special key. Such makes tight spots a piece of cake. Dedicated start buttons on the key allow the owner to start the vehicle from a distance and guide it into or out of parking spaces while standing outside.

Equipped with cameras showing 360 degrees and parking sensors, the system ensures risk-free operation by showing obstacles and bringing the vehicle to a standstill if necessary. It is, most of the times, used only in high-end cars. The Mahindra will do something like this in its mainstream EV; that will set the benchmark for everyone.

Advanced Performance Features

These will be the first ones under the Mahindra's "Electric Origin SUVs" brand and will come equipped with the advanced INGLO platform. BE 6e and XEV 9e are expected to produce over 250 bhp from the engine side along with storing batteries with capacities going up to 80 kWh. A single-motor configuration would be available along with a dual-motor configuration to accommodate different performance requirements.

Tech-Laden Interiors

Spy shots have revealed that the BE 6e will feature an enclosure cockpit-style dual-screen dashboard while the XEV 9e will really rock the boat with its triple-screen layout. Those are going to be pretty fantastic futuristic interiors, designed to provide driving experiences. Luxury has met cutting-edge technology.

Quite to the point, the Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e are pretty much about remote parking and stylish interiors. Under its "Unlimit India" initiative, Mahindra promises to offer electric SUVs with features advanced far beyond the existing electric vehicle options. With these two launches, the company is all set to give a new definition to electric SUVs on Indian roads and across the globe.
