Futuristic MG Cyber X SUV Revealed with Pixel Lighting & AI Tech

MG Motor has unveiled the first teaser of its futuristic Cyber X SUV, set to debut at the Shanghai Auto Show. The model, part of MG’s ambitious two-year global product blitz, promises cutting-edge design and a potential electric or hybrid powertrain, marking a bold step in the brand’s tech-driven evolution.

Futuristic Design & Rugged Aesthetics

The Cyber X SUV flaunts a boxy silhouette with pixel-inspired LED lighting strips spanning its front and rear, paired with an illuminated MG logo. Its aerodynamic contours, hidden door handles, and roof rails blend rugged SUV elements with modern minimalism. High ground clearance hints at off-road capability, while pixel-accented wheels add a playful tech twist.

Powertrain Speculation & E3 Architecture

Though MG remains tight-lipped on specifications, the closed grille suggests an all-electric or plug-in hybrid setup. Industry insiders speculate the Cyber X will ride on SAIC’s modular E3 platform, engineered for flexibility across vehicle segments. The architecture supports advanced semi-solid-state batteries, promising extended range and rapid charging—a potential game-changer for EV enthusiasts.
