Citroen India has launched the Dark Edition variants of its popular models – Basalt, C3, and Aircross – in a bid to refresh their appeal and enhance sales. To give the event a greater push, the company invited brand ambassador Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who also took delivery of the first Citroen Basalt Dark Edition in the country.

Priced at ₹12.80 lakh (ex-showroom), the Citroen Basalt Dark Edition is the latest addition to MS Dhoni's luxury garage, which already includes high-end models such as the Range Rover, Mercedes-Benz G62 AMG, Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, and Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk. Dhoni is also known for his impressive motorcycle collection.

Exclusive Exterior Design

The Dark Edition of the Citroen Basalt stands out from the standard model with its Perla Nera Black exterior, enhanced by dark chrome finishes on the Chevron emblem, front grille, bumpers, door handles, and side moldings. A bold red accent along the front and sides adds to its sporty, international appeal.
