Get Ready for the New Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Launching in November with Z-Series Engine and Top-Notch Safety Features!
Maruti Suzuki, the largest car manufacturer in India, is generating buzz around its upcoming Dzire facelift. Initially expected to launch next month, recent updates indicate that the new Dzire will now be introduced in November. However, the company has yet to announce a specific launch date. This latest iteration of the Dzire is anticipated to come equipped with several segment-first features, reinforcing its position as Maruti Suzuki's best-selling compact sedan.
Engine Update: Z-Series Power
One of the most significant changes in the new Dzire will be under the hood. Reports suggest that the model will feature a new Z-Series 3-cylinder engine that delivers 82 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque. This engine, which currently powers the Swift, is known for its performance and fuel efficiency. In the Swift, it offers an impressive mileage of 26 kmpl, leading to expectations that the Dzire could achieve a mileage of approximately 25 to 27 kmpl.
The engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Additionally, the new Dzire will also be available in a CNG variant, which is expected to deliver a mileage of up to 30 km/kg. However, it will only feature a single CNG tank, as Maruti Suzuki currently does not offer a twin CNG tank option, unlike competitors such as Tata and Hyundai.
Emphasis on Safety
Maruti Suzuki is prioritizing safety in the new Dzire, incorporating several advanced and first-in-class features. The upcoming model is likely to include ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance Systems) for enhanced safety. Furthermore, hybrid technology may also be introduced for the first time, as Maruti plans to transition all its cars to hybrid systems in the coming years. However, this shift could lead to an increase in vehicle prices.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Pricing Expectations
The current ex-showroom price of the Dzire starts at ₹6.56 lakh. Sources suggest that the new model may be priced slightly higher due to the additional features it will offer. In the Indian market, the Dzire will directly compete with models like the Honda Amaze and the Hyundai Aura.
With its anticipated features and performance upgrades, the new Maruti Suzuki Dzire aims to continue its legacy as a popular choice among compact sedan buyers.
