Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Royal Enfield is ramping up its international growth strategy with new launches, market expansion, and a bold foray into higher-capacity bikes. Following its dominance in the 350cc-650cc segment, the brand is now set to launch 750cc bikes. Among these, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 has been a much-awaited adventure-tourer, which has been seen testing on the roads recently. Here's a closer look at its design, features, and possible launch.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Major Features

The Himalayan 750 is a road-centric adventure motorcycle, with the capability to ride light off-road routes. Its aggressive look comprises a round LED headlamp, tall windscreen, tank extensions that are muscular in nature, and a high-exhaust side. Functional features such as a luggage rack at the rear, grab rails, and pannier mounts are intended for tour riders. Even with its very heavy weight (approx. 210-220 kg), the bike provides low seat height to handle easily along with an upright riding position supported by wide bars and mid-set pegs so that it may provide comfort at extended distances too.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Performance & Specifications

Equipped with all-new 750cc engine which is different from the current 650cc parallel-twin engine, the Himalayan 750. With a 50 PS and 60 Nm torque output expected, it beats the 650cc's 47 PS and 52 Nm, making highway cruising more efficient. The engine has air-oil cooling and complies with strict global emission standards. The test mule rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, although alloy or tubeless versions could follow depending on demand. Suspension work is accomplished by USD front forks and a rear mono-shock, supplemented by dual front disc brakes and a single rear disc. Upgrade features such as cruise control, Bluetooth-enabled TFT navigation, and turn-by-turn directions are expected.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 750: Launch Timeline & Competitors

Royal Enfield is expected to launch its 750cc series, comprising the Continental GT-R 750 and Interceptor 750, at EICMA 2025. The Himalayan 750 is expected to go on sale in India towards the end of 2026 or early 2027 at a price tag of around ₹4 lakh (ex-showroom). It will take on the Kawasaki Versys 650 and Suzuki V-Strom 650 in the mid-weight adventure touring category.
