Samsung Launches Galaxy M56 5G in India: Samsung has expanded its mid-range smartphone offerings in India with the launch of the Galaxy M56 5G, revealed on April 17. Created to meet the needs of budget-friendly consumers looking for high-end features, the phone brings together powerful hardware and advanced software support.
The Galaxy M56 5G boasts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and is guarded by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+. It has Samsung's homegrown Exynos 1480 octa-core chipset along with an Xclipse 530 GPU, making the device smooth for multitasking and gaming. The device comes with 8GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, extendable through microSD. A 5,000mAh battery accompanies 45W fast charging for extended use.
Running Android 15-based One UI 7, Samsung promises six years of OS updates and security patches, through 2031. Photographers receive a triple-camera system: a 50MP main lens with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The selfie camera resides in the front, a 12MP snapper.

Priced at ₹27,999 (128GB) and ₹30,000 (256GB), the phone comes in black and light green colors. Limited-period bank offers lower prices to ₹24,999 and ₹27,999, respectively. The Galaxy M56 5G takes on the Nothing Phone (3a), Xiaomi Redmi Note 14, and OnePlus Nord 4 in India's competitive mid-range market.
