Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim: New ALoP Technology for Slimmer Camera and Better Image Quality
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim: Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 Slim along with its other models, including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Ahead of the official Galaxy Unpacked event, a leak has revealed details about the upcoming slim flagship. One major highlight of the Galaxy S25 Slim is its use of the new ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) technology to improve the camera while keeping the phone slim.
ALoP Technology for a Slimmer Camera
The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to feature a periscope telephoto camera using ALoP technology, which was announced by Samsung Semiconductor last month. This technology addresses the issue of bulky camera modules by allowing a slimmer design. By using ALoP, Samsung can reduce the length of the telephoto camera module by 22%, compared to traditional folded camera optics.
How ALoP Technology Works
The ALoP design positions the telephoto lens flat in the plane of the phone. This creates a smaller, less noticeable camera bump while maintaining excellent image quality. The ALoP system uses a 40-degree tilted prism reflection surface and a 10-degree tilted sensor assembly, making the camera module more compact and producing low-noise, clearer photos.
Galaxy S25 Slim's Camera Features
The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to come with a triple rear camera system. This will include a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP5 sensor, a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN5 sensor with an ultrawide lens, and a telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom. It’s believed that the regular Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ models will not include this telephoto camera.
Expected Features of the Galaxy S25 Slim
The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to be less than 7mm thick, making it one of the slimmest models in the Galaxy S25 series. Despite its slim profile, it promises excellent image quality thanks to the new ALoP camera technology.
Slim Design, Powerful Camera
With the introduction of ALoP technology, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is set to offer a thinner, more compact design without compromising on camera quality. This innovation could make the Galaxy S25 Slim an appealing choice for users who want a slim phone with high-end features.
