Skullcandy Brings Premium ANC and Bose Tuning for Under $100

Skullcandy is pushing the boundaries of wireless audio with its just-announced Method 360 ANC earbuds, which have been co-developed with audio giant Bose. The Bose-inspired premium tuning ensures Skullcandy's best sound ever and comfort, aimed at consumers seeking a combination of affordability and cutting-edge features.

Priced at launch at $99.99 (around ₹8,570), the earbuds will subsequently be available for $129.99 (around ₹11,140). Aimed at competing in the mid-range segment, the Method 360 ANC offers top-grade Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), four-mic hybrid noise control, and Bose's audio engineering.

The earbuds have three sizes of ear gels and stability fins to provide a secure, comfortable fit. They don't compete with the high-end ANC of the Bose QuietComfort Ultra but provide a decent experience at a fraction of the price—making them appealing for budget shoppers.

Rather than the standard clamshell case, Skullcandy went with a slide-out charging case with clip-on O-ring, which includes mobility for travelers. Battery life is outstanding—11 hours on a single charge (9 hours using ANC) and a full 40 hours (32 with ANC) with the charging case.

Some of the prominent features include Stay-Aware mode, gaming-focused low-latency mode, auto-pause/play wear detection, and multi-device pairing. The Method 360 ANC also sports an IPX4 rating against water, thus suitable for outdoor use and fitness. Some more smart integrations are Spotify Tap, Google Fast Pair, and compatibility with the Skull-iQ app that includes customizable EQ and gesture shortcuts.

Skullcandy's new earbuds will come in five color choices — Black, Bone, Primer, Plasma, and Leopard.
