Scheduled to take place at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, from January 17 to January 22, Auto Expo 2025 promises an exciting showcase from Tata Motors. The company is set to display a range of electric vehicles (EVs), innovative green fuel technologies, and special edition variants of its popular internal combustion engine (ICE) SUVs.
Harrier EV: A Milestone in Tata’s EV Journey
One of the event's highlights, the Tata Harrier EV, represents a significant leap in the brand's EV strategy. This flagship electric SUV, nearing its production-ready stage, combines robust design with sustainable engineering.
The Harrier EV mirrors its ICE counterpart, featuring distinctive EV elements like a closed grille, aerodynamic wheels, and exclusive color options. It is expected to offer a battery capacity between 60 kWh and 80 kWh, delivering a claimed range of up to 500 km. The optional dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) setup with rear independent suspension further enhances its versatility.

Sierra EV: A Nostalgic Icon Reimagined
Another eagerly anticipated reveal is the Tata Sierra EV. This modern rendition of the classic 1990s Sierra combines nostalgia with practicality, featuring a five-door layout.
Powered by the same platform as the Harrier EV and Safari EV, the Sierra EV promises cutting-edge technology and sustainability. Alongside its electric version, Tata is also preparing an ICE variant of the Sierra for future release.
Avinya Concept: A Glimpse into the Future
First unveiled in 2022, the Avinya Concept embodies Tata Motors’ vision for next-generation vehicles. Expected to return at Auto Expo 2025, this concept showcases futuristic design inside and out.
While details remain under wraps, the Avinya Concept hints at a family of vehicles with a focus on advanced technology and eco-friendly innovation. The showcased model will likely remain in concept form, giving a glimpse of Tata’s evolving product philosophy.

Tata Motors will also spotlight limited-edition versions of its current models, including:
