Tata Punch Unveils Updated Micro SUV with New Features and CNG Variants
Mumbai, Sept. 17 — Tata Motors has launched the refreshed version of its popular micro SUV, the Tata Punch, which now includes new features and expanded CNG variant options. The updated Punch continues to be available in four main trims—Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative—ranging in price from ₹6.13 lakh to ₹10.20 lakh ex-showroom.
The new Tata Punch offers a variety of 32 sub-variants across its main trims, with introductory prices starting at ₹6.13 lakh. Notably, the top-end variants are priced approximately ₹20,000 higher than before, and there is a notable increase in the number of CNG variants.
The Punch's CNG version now includes nine sub-variants, priced between ₹7.23 lakh and ₹9.90 lakh ex-showroom. This update also introduces several new sub-variants such as Pure Optional, Adventure S, Adventure Plus S, and Accomplished Dazzle, replacing previous options like Pure Rhythm and Standard Accomplished.
Key Changes in the Updated Model:
Enhanced Infotainment: All sub-variants beyond the Accomplished Plus now feature a 10.25-inch infotainment system.
Additional Features: The Pure Optional variant includes center locking, powered windows, and a powered rearview camera. The Adventure S variant adds a sunroof and rear AC vents, while the Accomplished Dazzle sub-variant comes with a wireless charger.
New Exterior Options: The updated Punch also offers five new dual-tone color options to cater to diverse customer preferences.
The updated Punch continues to offer the 1.2-liter petrol engine option, available with both 5-speed manual and automatic transmissions. The CNG variants, equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox, promise enhanced fuel efficiency.
With these updates, the Tata Punch is set to compete more aggressively against rivals like the Hyundai Xtreme, Citroën C3, and Maruti Ignis, offering new features and expanded options to attract a broader customer base.
