Burger King Murder Case: Lady Don Anu Dhankar Emerges as Principal Accused
A breakthrough was recently achieved in the sensational Rajouri Garden Burger King murder case. Delhi Police's Special Cell arrested 19-year-old woman from Rohtak, Haryana, who is also known as "Lady Don". She is accused of masterminding the brutal killing to consolidate gang power.
The Burger King Murder case, Shooting Incident
The horrific incident took place on June 18, 2024, at a Burger King outlet located on Najafgarh Road, Rajouri Garden, Delhi. Three men came on bikes; one waited outside and the other two went inside the restaurant and started firing around 20-25 rounds that killed Aman instantly. The Himanshu Bhau gang, who are infamous, later took the responsibility of this barbaric act.
Following the murder, Anu Dhankar successfully evaded arrests. Police declared her an absconder criminal on 23rd September. Delhi Police Special Cell had followed up with the absconding lady from Lakhimpur, UP, who had managed to go as far as the near-India-Nepal border, and had nabbed her. Currently she is being brought to Delhi for further legal proceedings.

Delhi Police has detained people in this matter
The investigation was conducted by several teams, led by ACP Rahul Kumar Singh of Special Cell/NR and Inspectors Puran Pant, Ravi Tushir, Kulveer, and Vikram. Before this, on June 27, the police arrested Bijender alias Golu from Ritoli, Rohtak, Haryana. Bijender identified other suspects, including Ashish alias Lalu, Vikas alias Vicky, and Anu Dhankar, all involved in executing the plan laid out by Himanshu Bhau and Sahil Ritolia.
It was observed during the investigation that Anu Dhankar was a key player in bringing Aman to Burger King under some pretext of friendship. She informed Himanshu and Sahil about his location, who then sent his associates Ashish, Vikas, and Bijender to kill him. On July 12, Ashish and Vikas were killed in a police encounter in Sonipat, Haryana.
Promise of a Better Life in the U.S.
According to sources, Anu said that her friendship with Himanshu and Sahil was based on promises of a luxurious life in the U.S., full support for immigration, visa, and expenses. They assured her a future abroad in exchange for her assistance in gang activities.
This is one of those high-profile cases in which Delhi Police have made wide efforts in cracking down the organized crime networks, one more step towards justice in the murder case of Rajouri Garden.
