A tragic incident occurred at Delhi Metro's Tagore Garden station on Friday when a 60-year-old retired National Informatics Centre (NIC) employee, Chandraprakash Dawar, allegedly committed suicide. He was reportedly suffering from mental distress. The body has been sent for postmortem at DDU Hospital. The incident briefly disrupted metro services, which resumed shortly after.

In a separate incident on the same day, technical issues on the Yellow Line caused delays between Rajiv Chowk and Kashmere Gate, but services were restored within 10 minutes.
