Delhi Welcome Area Shooting Scooter Rider killed

The new Delhi crime wave that appears to grow with increasing terror now has claimed many lives in its trail. A young man was shot dead last night riding a scooter at the Welcome area of Delhi late Friday night. Identified as Nadeem, the youth was attacked, while the culprit escaped, and another youth riding with him was injured. The police are investigating the case and reviewing CCTV footage for identifying the attackers.

The police reports stated that this incident occurred when Nadeem was returning home with friends near his house. Three unknown assailants attacked him just at the doorstep of his home, which means they were waiting for his arrival. As soon as Nadeem reached the location with his friends, the attackers opened fire. In this assault, Nadeem got severely injured and died due to the injuries as a result of the attack by the residents of the locality.

 


Panic in the Community

One of Nadeem's friends received a gunshot injury to the leg while another escaped injuries. They left after shooting but took Nadeem's mobile phone away while leaving behind their motorcycle. People are also panicked due to the shooting; the residents are highly disturbed by the fact that such an attack is brazen and ruthless. The police are acting very aggressively in search of the suspects and have assured the arrest of the culprits soon.

This made an extremely serious issue raise on the safety of public in the city, being alarming because violent crimes are often reported regularly.
