Lover Beaten to Death for Being 'Intimate' with Wife in Delhi's Shastri Park

Delhi's Shastri Park was left shaken with a gruesome murder: the brutal beating of a 21-year-old, identified as Ritik Verma, on Monday morning. Shocking, it is what happened after Ritik was caught being 'intimate' with a married woman by her enraged husband.

Incident Details

Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Paweriya said Ritik was found with the woman at around 11 a.m. on Monday. After catching his wife with another man, the husband lost control and attacked Ritik and his wife mercilessly. Ritik's uncle alleged that the beating was so severe that it led to Ritik's death.

Torture and Fatal Injuries

Reports suggest that Ritik was subjected to extreme torture. His nails were pulled out, and he had multiple serious injuries all over his body, indicating that more than one person was involved in the assault. Ritik was an only child and used to work as an auto-rickshaw driver in Delhi to support his parents.

The Affair and Confrontation

According to reports, Ritik was in a relationship with the married woman. The two were spending time together when the husband arrived suddenly. Upon seeing his wife in the arms of Ritik, the man's anger turned violent. He badly beat up both Ritik and his wife, killing Ritik in the process.

Police Investigation Underway

Ritik's family managed to rush him to the hospital but was declared dead by the doctors as he had attained extensive injuries. Police registered a complaint and are looking into the case for identifying who was involved and the right sequence of events.
