Mumbai: Controversy Erupts as Police Announce Baba Siddiqui Shooting Suspect is Not a Minor Following Bone Ossification Test!
In a dramatic turn of events surrounding the shooting of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui in Mumbai, it has been revealed that the alleged shooter, Dharmaraj Kashyap, is not a minor as previously claimed. The bombshell announcement comes after a bone ossification test ordered by the court confirmed his age, leaving many eyebrows raised.

Baba Siddiqui was tragically shot on Saturday night, and the investigation quickly led to the arrest of two alleged shooters on-site, identified as Gurmail Baljeet Singh, a 23-year-old resident of Haryana, and Dharmaraj Kashyap, who claimed he was just 19. However, during court proceedings, Kashyap maintained his innocence by insisting he was a minor, prompting the court to order a medical examination to verify his age.

The much-anticipated test results were released late Sunday night, and they confirmed that Kashyap is indeed not a minor. As a result, he has been remanded into police custody until October 21, along with Gurmail Singh, who is also facing judicial custody.

Meanwhile, the hunt is on for a third suspect, Praveen Lonkhar, who was arrested Sunday night in Pune. The police are currently on the lookout for Shubham Lonkhar, Shivkumar Gautam, and Jeeshan Akhtar, with Praveen and Shubham being brothers. Notably, Shubham has publicly implicated himself in the case by tagging notorious figures Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother Anmol Bishnoi in a Facebook post that takes responsibility for the shooting.

According to police sources, Praveen and Shubham are considered the key orchestrators of this heinous act, which saw Baba Siddiqui shot six times, with three bullets striking him directly. He was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, but unfortunately, doctors confirmed his death shortly after his arrival, despite efforts to save him.
