Raymond Group's CMD Gautam Singhania publicly went on a rant against Lamborghini India and Lamborghini Asia over the non-responsiveness of the former to his grievances on test drive malfunction issues related to the newly launched Lamborghini Revuelto. Singhania posted some pictures and details on the social media platform X while he narrated his woes with complete electrical failure of the vehicle in his test drive, which resulted in leaving him stranded at Mumbai's trans-harbour link.

Singhania's drive in the Lamborghini Revuelto took a downhill turn when the luxury car failed totally electrically. Questions arise regarding Lamborghini because, reportedly, it was the third Revuelto in two weeks to show the same problem. The car was towed out on October 5th as Singhania aired out his concerns over the car's reliability. "Here is evidence of the brand new Revuelto having to be towed away due to total electrical failure," Singhania declared, underlining the problems with performance on the product.

Immediately after the video surfaced, Singhania had also tagged Lamborghini India head Sharad Agarwal and head of Lamborghini Asia Francesco Scardaoni, criticizing the poor response from their side too. "Not one has reached out to even check what the customer issues are," he expressed disappointment from the customer care coming from such a brand that boasts such an expensive price tag.


Slamming Lamborghini on Customer Service
Industrialist commented, "I do not feel that the management here would at least make some sort of courtesy call as this is a loyal customer account." Singhania's posting attracted attention and made others react and further prolong the discussion over customer services by Lamborghini India.

People who were applauding Singhania's step said that most brands keep their customers' complaints for granted. "Now a businessman knows why customers are harassed if there is no redressal of grievances," someone mentioned, while pointing to the lack of proper customer care facilities on the part of most luxury brands. Others said very pricey Lamborghini but that does not stop it from coming down with a severe case of unreliability. 
 


Analyst Opinion and Public Response
Such customer complaints are believed to damage the reputation of the brand, and the fact that they come from the mouth of someone as prominent as Gautam Singhania only worsens matters. With this in mind, Lamborghini might have to do a lot to maintain its position in the Indian luxury car market.

This is one of the main reasons we avoid buying from luxury brands like Lamborghini. I mean, you pay hundreds of thousands of dollars and you get subpar service," says a user who found it light-hearted.
