Hyper Foundation Deploys 21 Validator Nodes for Network Security
In a landmark move towards enhancing the security and decentralization of blockchain, Hyper Foundation has launched 21 new validator nodes on its Hyperliquid Network. The step is designed to enhance trust, transparency, and technical stability across its ecosystem.
What Is the New Validator Setup?
Hyperliquid is moving towards a permissionless validator model, where any qualified participant with technical and compliance standards can apply to be a validator. Yet, only the top 21 validators, ordered by the highest stake of HYPE tokens, will be chosen as active validators.
Why a Delegation Program?
In order to ensure a strong and decentralized validator network, Hyper Foundation is introducing a Delegation Program. Participants need to lock at least 10,000 HYPE tokens for a period of one year to be eligible, demonstrating their seriousness towards the program.
This mechanism guarantees that validators are committed to network participation and assists in ensuring a secure and efficient network.
Validator Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible as a validator, applicants need to satisfy the following technical and legal requirements:
- Run two distinct non-validator nodes
- Maintain a minimum of 95% uptime
- Possess stable public IP addresses
- Obtain KYC/KYB verification
- Be compliant with all applicable legal laws
Who Are Validators and Why Are They Important?
Validators are important in the blockchain network, where they help verify and validate transactions prior to their addition to the chain. Essentially, validators guarantee that all transactions are safe, accurate, and legitimate.
Hyper Foundation's vision is to create a trustworthy team of validators who will provide long-term security and transparency to the Hyperliquid Network.

Country Restrictions
Owing to legal and regulatory restrictions, participants from specific countries such as the United States, Cuba, and Iran are not allowed to join this program.
Conclusion
With its 21 validator nodes and soon-to-launch Delegation Program, Hyper Foundation is setting a solid foundation for a decentralized and secure blockchain future. The program not only gives power to the community but also presents an open opportunity to anyone who qualifies to help grow the network.
