Modi US Visit : Top technology CEOs in the United States have expressed their interest in investing in India during a recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The discussion took place at the Lotte New York Palace Hotel and coincided with Modi’s visit to the U.S.
Modi emphasized the importance of leveraging India’s economic and technological growth, highlighting sectors such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. Prominent leaders like Sundar Pichai, Jensen Huang, and Shantanu Narayen participated in the talks.
The Ministry of External Affairs stated that the meeting focused on how technology can aid countries like India and contribute to revolutionary changes in the global economy and human development. Modi assured that the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence aligns with India's policy objectives.
During his visit, Modi also participated in a gathering of Indian communities in Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum, where he addressed attendees with the rallying cry, "Bharat Mata Ki Jai." He remarked on the global significance of the Indian greeting "Namaste," attributing its widespread use to the Indian diaspora.
Highlighting the strong ties between the U.S. and India, Modi acknowledged the role of Indians living in the U.S. as bridges between the two nations. "You all have crossed seven seas, but the love for India in your hearts remains unchanged," he said, stressing that the emotions that unite them are a source of strength.
Modi described those residing in the U.S. as brand ambassadors for India and thanked them for the respect India receives abroad. He noted that Indian values and culture serve to unite Indians, regardless of where they are in the world. The event concluded with enthusiastic chants of "Modi, Modi" from the audience.
