Who Will Finanlise Ratan Tata's Will? Meet 4 Men Who Decide On 'Tata Ka ki Property Kisko Milegi

Ratan Tata, the legendary industrialist, passed away on October 9 at the age of 86. Known for his leadership and philanthropy, Tata left behind a will naming four trusted individuals as executors: lawyer Darius Khambata, close confidant Mehli Mistry, and his half-sisters Shireen and Deanna Jejeebhoy. Notably, neither Noel Tata nor Jimmy Tata are among them.

Tata, who held a 0.83% stake in Tata Sons and had a net worth of Rs 7,900 crore, ensured that his wealth would be used for charitable causes. His investments spanned various industries, including Ola, Paytm, and FirstCry. Alongside his personal assets, including a residence in Mumbai and a holiday home in Alibaug, Ratan Tata also managed a vast array of trusts.

Key Executors of the Will

Mehli Mistry, a long-time confidant and trustee of the Tata Trusts, played a key role in Tata’s life, especially during his declining health. Mistry’s influence extends across the M Pallonji Group and several prominent institutions. Darius Khambata, a prominent advocate, helped draft the will and is a returning trustee of the Tata Trusts.

The Jejeebhoy sisters, Shireen and Deanna, share a close familial bond with Tata. Both have been involved in philanthropy, with Deanna previously serving as a trustee of the Ratan Tata Trust
