FIITJEE had its branches shut overnight in several towns of North India-including Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Bhopal-so parents were out on the streets after filing police complaints for getting refund of their payment for children's coaching.

Agitated Noida Parents Resort To Legal Measures

Frustrated parents from Noida met the police and lodged complaints over the sudden shutdown of the coaching center. The argument here is that since the branches are shut, the institute should return the fee.

Reasons for the Shutdown

A police officer from Noida stated that the administration had shut several FIITJEE branches for financial reasons and violation of licensing and fire safety conditions.

Affected Branches

The branches found in Noida, Ghaziabad, Meerut, and Bhopal stopped their operations. Parents of those areas protested against the institute's sudden move by demanding full fee refunds straight away.

Teacher Exodus Hits South Delhi Branch

Another big FIITJEE branch has been hit due to teacher resignation in the Kalusarai area of South Delhi, near IIT-Delhi. Several classes were suspended as teachers reportedly resigned due to several months of outstanding salaries.

Parents are encouraged to keep themselves abreast of the issue and keep following up with the local authorities for a solution.
