GATE 2025: Last Chance to Amend Applications as Correction Window Closes Tomorrow

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee will close the GATE 2025 application correction window tomorrow, November 20, 2024. Aspirants wishing to amend their application forms should promptly visit the official website: gate2025.iitr.ac.in. This is the final opportunity to ensure all application details are accurate before the examination. Timely corrections are crucial to avoid potential issues on exam day.

 How to Correct Applications

1. Log on to the official website: https://gate2025.iitr.ac.in.
2. On the home page, click on the link that says Application changes/modification link is now active for GATE 2025
3. Now you will be taken to another new page.   
4. Click on /goaps.iitr.ac.in
5. You can log in to your account based upon your details.   
6. After making the changes, submit the changes. Pay the fees, if applicable.

 Paper Pattern for GATE 2025

GATE 2025 shall have 30 examination papers. Candidates can opt for either one or two papers out of the predefined combinations. The examination will be conducted for three hours and the results will be valid for three years from the announcement date.

The question paper shall have three kinds of questions
 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Multiple Select Questions (MSQs)
Numerical Answer Type (NAT)

Questions designed for the assessment of key skills, which are five such skills:
1. Recall 2. Comprehension 3. Application 4. Analysis 5. Synthesis

It is aimed at judging the depth of knowledge, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills of a candidate.

The application correction window is the last opportunity whereby applicants can check for accuracy of their forms and should ensure everything be at par to avoid exam requirements.

Failure to correct may result in application rejection or other inconveniences on exam day.
