SSC CGL Result 2024 Live: Get Ready to Check Your Tier 1 Results!
SSC CGL Result 2024 Live : Staff Selection Commission will declare SSC CGL Tier I Examination Shortly. Candidates can check their result at ssc.gov.in. The exam already held at the centers from 09 Sep to 26 Sep, 2024.
The objective multiple choice questions in tier 1 involved four categories: General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension. All these sections consisted of 25 questions with a total of 50 marks.
On 3rd October, the SSC CGL provisional answer key for tier 1 was provided along with the objection window which remained open until 6th October.
Passing Criteria
To move to the next level, candidates must score at least as shown below:
Unreserved category: 30%
OBC and EWS: 25%
All other categories: 20%
This recruitment process will fill 17,727 posts Group 'B' and Group 'C' in the central government.

SSC CGL Result 2024 Live: Pass Marks Information
SSC CGL Result 2024 Live: To clear the examination test, unreserved category candidates are required to obtain minimum 30% marks. For clearing the examination test, OBC and EWS candidates must get minimum 25%. Candidates belonging to all other categories must get 20% in order to clear the SSC CGL 2024.
SSC CGL Result 2024 Live: Post Preference Submission for Candidates
Following the Tier 2 exam and prior to the final results, SSC CGL 2024 candidates must complete an online form to indicate their preferred posts. Candidates who do not submit preferences will be excluded from consideration for posts in various ministries, departments, and organizations. Once submitted, preferences are final and cannot be altered under any circumstances.
SSC CGL Result 2024 Live: Tie-Breaking Rule for Tier 2 Exam
In case of a tie in Tier 2 scores, merit will be determined by applying these criteria sequentially until the tie is broken:
- Marks in Paper-II of Tier II (for Junior Statistical Officer/Statistical Investigator Grade-II posts, if applicable)
- Marks in Section-I of Paper-I of Tier II
- Date of birth, giving preference to older candidates
- Alphabetical order of candidate names
