The Initial Setbacks

Amrit's first attempt at the UPSC exam in 2016 was marked by overconfidence. He believed the exam consisted primarily of optional questions, leading to his failure. However, this initial setback did not deter him. In 2017, he made another attempt with slightly better preparation but missed clearing the preliminary exam by just one mark. This close miss served as a wake-up call, strengthening his resolve to succeed.

Determined to achieve his goal, Amrit revised his preparation strategy. He thoroughly studied the syllabus, solved previous years' question papers, and took numerous mock tests. Over the next three years, Amrit Jain consistently cleared the UPSC exams, securing the 321st rank in 2019, the 96th rank in 2020, and the 179th rank in 2021. His relentless efforts culminated in his appointment as an IPS officer. Although his ultimate dream was to become an IAS officer, Amrit is proud of his accomplishments and the path he has taken.

Serving as ASP in Aligarh

Currently, Amrit Jain serves as the Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. His journey from a modest background to a prominent position in the police force is nothing short of inspirational. Despite not achieving his goal of becoming an IAS officer, Amrit remains positive and committed to his role as an IPS officer, contributing to the welfare and security of the community.

Self-Study and Determination
