UGC NET June 2024 Results Expected Soon: Nearly 9 Lakh Students Await Outcome as NTA Releases Final Answer Key
 

New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the results of the CSIR-UGC-NET June 2024 exam today. The Human Resource Development Group (HRDG), which conducts the exam in collaboration with CSIR, earlier noted that the results would be made available by October 15, 2024. The NTA recently released the final answer key for the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) on October 13, 2024.

Release of Final Answer Key

The NTA had previously issued a provisional answer key for the UGC NET exam. Candidates had until September 13, 2024, to raise challenges by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question. The final answer key, released on October 13, reflects any corrections made based on these challenges.

Nearly 9 Lakh Students Await Results

The UGC-NET June 2024 exam, which took place between August 21 and September 4, 2024, saw nearly 9 lakh candidates participate. The exam covered 83 subjects, including Hindi, English, Kannada, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Arabic, and more, with candidates vying for eligibility as Assistant Professors and for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian universities and colleges.

Purpose of UGC NET

UGC NET is a prestigious exam conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for the roles of ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship’ across various educational institutions in India. The exam is held in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format by NTA, ensuring fair and transparent evaluation.
