UPSC Civil Services Exam 2025 Notification Released: Application Process Begins Today
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially released the Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2025 notification on January 22, marking the start of the application process for this year’s exam. Unlike previous years when the notification was released in February, this year, the commission has advanced the timeline. Candidates can now apply for the UPSC CSE 2025 online at upsc.gov.in
Important Dates and Exam Timeline
The UPSC CSE 2025 Prelims Exam is scheduled for May 25, and candidates who meet the required cut-off marks will be eligible to appear for the UPSC Mains Exam, which will take place starting August 22 for five days.
The CSE exam is conducted in three phases: prelims, mains, and interviews. Last year, the UPSC had announced 1,056 vacancies for the CSE and 150 vacancies for the Indian Forest Service (IFoS).
