Abhilasha Sharma's journey to becoming an IAS officer with an All India Rank (AIR) of 62 in the UPSC examination is a testament to her perseverance and dedication. Hailing from Haryana and currently residing in Gurugram, Abhilasha faced numerous obstacles on her path to success.

After three failed attempts at the UPSC exam, Abhilasha recommitted to her preparation in 2013 with renewed determination. She devoted 15-16 hours a day to her studies, concentrating especially on her optional subjects, Political Science and International Relations. Her relentless efforts paid off in her fourth attempt when she secured an AIR of 68, marking a pivotal moment in her journey.

Abhilasha credits her success to the process of self-improvement and the lessons learned from her previous failures. In a recent interview, she shared insights into her challenging journey and underscored the critical support of her husband, Ankit. Married in 2017, Ankit provided both physical and emotional support, serving as a constant source of inspiration.

Abhilasha stresses the importance of diligently reading NCERT books, keeping up with current events by reading newspapers daily, and taking the aptitude subject seriously. Her story demonstrates that with determination and unwavering commitment to one's goals, significant achievements are possible.
