Amaran, the much-anticipated Diwali release backed by Kamal Haasan's Raaj Kamal Films International, is proving to be a major success. The film, a biopic of the late Major Mukund Varadarajan, features Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. With its meaningful storyline and dedicated performances, Amaran has struck a chord with audiences. The film has already made history by joining the Rs 100 crore club globally in just three days, making it Sivakarthikeyan's third film to reach this milestone after Doctor and Don.

Day 4 Box Office Collection: Amaran Holds Strong

Amaran continued its box office success on Day 4, earning an impressive Rs 21.75 crore, maintaining the momentum it saw on both Day 1 and Day 3. The film’s consistency is remarkable, especially given the tough competition from other major Diwali releases like Jayam Ravi’s Brother, Kavin’s Bloody Beggar, and popular Hindi films such as Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Singham Again. With its fourth day included, the film’s domestic box office collection now stands at Rs 83.45 crore.

According to Comscore, Amaran opened at the 7th position globally, a significant achievement, especially with Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 securing the 3rd and 4th spots. This international ranking marks Amaran as one of the most successful films in Sivakarthikeyan's career, further establishing him as a top star in Tamil cinema. He now joins an elite group of actors, such as Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay, and Ajith Kumar, who have reached the Rs 100 crore milestone globally within three days of release.

Telugu Version Adds to Amaran’s Impressive Run

An interesting aspect of Amaran's success is the performance of its Telugu version, which has contributed nearly 17 percent of its total collections. This shows the widespread appeal of the film beyond Tamil-speaking regions. With an 84.61 percent occupancy rate for its Tamil version and 76.34 percent for the Telugu version on Day 4, Amaran continues to attract crowds across multiple states. This popularity highlights the star power of Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, along with the enduring impact of Kamal Haasan’s production house.

Amaran has lived up to the hype of being a big-ticket Diwali release, earning praise from both audiences and critics. Viewers have embraced the film for its emotional depth and strong portrayal of Major Mukund Varadarajan's life. Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi's performances have been commended, adding to the film’s appeal.
