New Delhi, India: Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh, still high on the electrifying performance at Delhi's concert 'Dil-luminati', was in the news recently for posting pictures and a video of his visit recently to the Bangla Sahib Gurdwara. Dosanjh reached the gurdwara on Friday night to worship ahead of his concert yesterday, and posted the video and pictures on social network that caused a stormy debate over the gurudwara's restrictions against photography.

While many fans appreciated his gesture of faith, a strong section of netizens criticized this argument and said that rules are for all - be it celebrities or visitors. While responding to this, one user commented, "If rules are so strict in the gurdwara, how's he being recorded? I am also a great fan of Diljit, but each time we go there to Bangla Sahib, we have faced lots of misbehavior. One of them added, "Rules are rules, and it is for everyone, whether it is a celebrity or not.

The incident has set social media buzzing about seeming anomalies in the implementation of rules at Bangla Sahib. A few argued that the film stars are made an exception, but for ordinary visitors to the gurudwara, rules seem strictly implemented. "If we take a picture using our phone, sevadaars snatch it away from us, but Diljit paaji can video-record a whole gurdwara?" exclaimed one outraged user.
