Gongchan Parts Ways with WM Entertainment After 13 Years

On August 21, it was announced that Gongchan, a member of the popular K-pop group B1A4, has officially ended his individual management contract with WM Entertainment. This change took effect on June 30, 2024, marking the end of a significant chapter in Gongchan's career.

WM Entertainment shared a detailed statement about the conclusion of Gongchan’s individual contract. The agency acknowledged the end of their professional relationship with Gongchan, expressing their gratitude for the years of collaboration:

This is WM Entertainment.

After extensive and thoughtful discussions with B1A4’s Gongchan, we have decided to conclude our individual management contract with him as of June 30, 2024.

However, we will continue to manage his group activities with B1A4 (CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan).

We would like to express our gratitude to Gongchan for the trust and collaboration we’ve shared over the past 13 years. We also sincerely thank the fans who have continuously loved and supported Gongchan.
