Jennie, a member of the global K-pop sensation BLACKPINK, has officially revealed the tracklist for her highly anticipated debut studio album, Ruby. The album, which is set to release on March 7, features 15 songs across various genres and includes collaborations with several internationally renowned artists.

A Star-Studded Tracklist

Jennie’s Ruby album showcases her versatility with an eclectic mix of tracks. Among the most awaited collaborations is ExtraL, featuring American rapper-singer Doechii, which will be released on February 21. The album’s intro track, Jane, includes the musical talents of French multi-instrumentalist FKJ.

One of the most exciting collaborations on the album is Handlebars, where Jennie joins forces with Albanian-British pop icon Dua Lipa. Damn Right, the tenth track on the album, features contributions from actor-musician Childish Gambino and singer-songwriter Kali Uchis. Additionally, American artist Dominic Fike was featured in Love Hangover, one of Jennie’s pre-released tracks.

Exploring Multiple Genres

Jennie’s Ruby consists of a diverse mix of songs, including Jennie with the IE (Way Up), Mantra, ZEN, F.T.S., Filter, Seoul City, Starlight, and Twin. The lead single, Mantra, which dropped in October last year, quickly became one of Jennie’s most successful solo hits. Other pre-released songs include ZEN, released on January 25, and Love Hangover, which came out on January 31.

The varied song titles suggest that Jennie is experimenting with multiple musical styles rather than adhering to a singular theme. In a recent interview with Billboard, she spoke about her experience recording in Los Angeles, highlighting how working with different musicians inspired her creative process. “I just really wanted to throw myself out there to experience it,” she said, emphasizing her growth as an artist.

Following the album’s release, Jennie will embark on The Ruby Experience, a limited three-city showcase tour. The event will take place in Los Angeles, New York, and Seoul, giving fans an exclusive live performance of her new songs.

With Ruby, Jennie is set to make her mark as a solo artist while continuing to expand her influence beyond K-pop. Fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting her album’s full release, which promises to bring a fresh and dynamic sound to the music industry.
