The Late Kim Sae Ron Revealed to Have Borrowed Money from K-Pop Celebs Amid 2022–2023 Financial Struggles

The pain and loneliness in the life of South Korea's famous actress Kim Sae Ron has been revealed after her death. According to the report of SBS News, on 8 September 2024 at 2 am, she posted a story on her private Instagram account, in which she expressed deep pain.

Kim Sae Ron's Last Instagram Story Made an Emotional Disclosure

In the story, she wrote,

"If I die, take a screenshot of it and make it public. These are the people who saved me. And those who left me when I was at the bottom, just think what I gave you. My breath analyzer report had zero alcohol, only a little high came in the blood test. But I still compensated all the shopkeepers for the loss. Now I will not suffer any more."

Two of her friends saw this post and immediately reached her house. They reached on time and stopped Kim Sae Ron from causing a major accident.

Celebs Helped Kim Sae Ron

According to a report by SBS News, the three people Kim Sae Ron mentioned included two famous K-Pop stars and a singer. All three of them gave him financial help of 100 million KRW (about Rs 62 lakh). He called them "my protectors".

In addition, an actor 'A' and singer/actor 'B' also helped him after a DUI (drink and drive) case. Singer 'C' not only gave money in 2023, but also provided financial support to his family after his death in 2024.

According to the report, Kim Sae Ron also borrowed 50 million KRW from a common friend 'D', with which he paid the deposit of his apartment. He also took 60 million KRW from his agency Run Entertainment, which he used for surgery and hospital expenses.

After her death, it has become clear that Kim Sae Ron was facing financial crisis. In 2022, the production company of the Netflix series 'Bloodhounds' fined her 700 million KRW after a DUI case. Since then, her life has changed badly.
