The much-loved Hindi comedy-drama series Panchayat is getting a Tamil remake, titled Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam. This adaptation, produced by TVF (The Viral Fever), is all set to release on Amazon Prime on September 30, 2024.

The Tamil remake features standup comedian Abhishek Kumar in the lead role, which was originally portrayed by Jitendra Kumar in Panchayat. Abhishek is known for his quirky standup comedy and social media presence.
