Sukumar’s Pushpa 2 starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, is making waves at the box office. The film had an extraordinary opening day, followed by a slight dip on its second day, but Pushpa 2 Box Office Day 3 bounced back with remarkable numbers. According to the film’s team, the movie has already grossed ₹500 crore worldwide, surpassing the lifetime collections of its predecessor, Pushpa: The Rise.

Opening Day Success

The movie had a record-breaking start, collecting ₹164.5 crore net on its first day in India. Adding the premiere day collections of ₹10.65 crore net, the total soared to new heights. This opening performance placed Pushpa 2: The Rule ahead of notable blockbusters like SS Rajamouli’s RRR and Atlee’s Jawan, making it the biggest opening for any Indian film. It also created history by grossing over ₹50 crore in two languages on the same day.

Despite an impressive start, the film’s collections dipped by 42.89% on its second day, earning ₹93.8 crore net. However, the numbers surged again on Saturday, with the film earning approximately ₹115.58 crore net in India. By the end of the third day, Pushpa 2: The Rule had amassed an estimated ₹379.28 crore net domestically.

Breaking Records and Milestones

Globally, the film has already achieved a gross collection of ₹500 crore, making it the highest-grossing film of Allu Arjun’s career. It has also shattered several records, including becoming the first Indian film to gross over ₹50 crore in two languages on the same day. These achievements underscore the massive popularity of the franchise and the star power of its lead actors.

The audience has lauded the film for its gripping storyline, high-octane action sequences, and Allu Arjun’s intense performance. Sukumar’s direction has also been widely appreciated, further solidifying the film’s place as a cinematic spectacle.
