Who Fired Shots at AP Dhillon’s House? Police Reveal Suspects’ Identities!

In September 2024, a frightening incident unfolded outside the Vancouver residence of popular singer AP Dhillon. An unknown man fired approximately 14 shots at the property, and CCTV footage captured him in black clothing committing the crime. In addition to the gunshots, he set fire to a black truck and another small vehicle parked near the residence. Since then, police have been actively investigating the case, which has drawn widespread media attention and concern among AP Dhillon’s fans.

In a recent breakthrough, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) have arrested a suspect in connection with the shooting and arson. The West Shore RCMP issued a statement on October 30, detailing the arrest and charges. The arrested suspect, identified as 25-year-old Abjeet Kingra, is a resident of Winnipeg. He was arrested in Ontario and is facing serious charges, including “Discharge of a Firearm with Intent and Arson.” Kingra is scheduled to appear in court in Ontario on Friday.

The police statement further shared, “A man was arrested and later charged in connection with recklessly discharging a firearm into a residence as well as setting fire to two vehicles in the 3300 block of Ravenwood Road, Colwood, on September 2.”

Search Continues for Second Suspect Believed to Have Fled to India

Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a second suspect, identified as 23-year-old Vikram Sharma. Sharma is believed to have fled to India, complicating efforts to bring him into custody. Described as a South Asian male, approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, Sharma is wanted on similar charges to Kingra and is also facing charges of “Discharge of a Firearm with Intent and Arson.”

Superintendent Todd Preston of West Shore RCMP emphasized the ongoing efforts to apprehend both suspects: “West Shore RCMP officers have been working diligently through this investigation, which has led to the identification of the suspects involved. We will continue to pursue this investigation as well as the outstanding suspect until they have been located and arrested.”

The attack came shortly after AP Dhillon released a music video titled Old Money, featuring Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Following its release, a gang member linked to Lawrence Bishnoi claimed responsibility for the shooting and issued a threat, warning Dhillon to distance himself from Salman Khan. Salman has been under threat from the Bishnoi gang due to the Black Buck poaching case, with the gang demanding an apology from the actor.

The incident has shocked fans and raised concerns for the safety of AP Dhillon and those associated with him. With one suspect in custody and the RCMP actively working to bring the second suspect to justice, fans and followers hope for swift action to ensure the safety of the singer.
