AFP’s Seizure of Gupta’s Assets

In 2020, AFP seized properties and bank accounts linked to Gupta in Australia, Singapore, and New York, totaling ₹1,666 crore ($200 million). These actions were part of the ongoing Getax investigation, which uncovered Gupta’s global financial network.

Failed Extradition Attempts

Gupta was tracked to Dubai, where efforts to extradite him to Australia failed due to legal technicalities.
