Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Calls on Jharkhand Govt to Address Infiltration

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has called on the JMM-led alliance in Jharkhand, which recently retained power, to fulfill its constitutional duty by identifying and deporting infiltrators from the state.

Serving as the BJP's co-in-charge for the Jharkhand elections, Sarma also urged the newly elected BJP MLAs to bring the issue of infiltration to the forefront in the state assembly. He underlined the risks posed by illegal migrants, stating that they represent a significant threat not only to Jharkhand but also to neighboring Assam and the broader region.
