Ayodhya Ram Temple Starts Looking for Its First CEO
The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has started looking for the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. This step comes after the recent donation theft case. After the issue, the Trust decided that the temple needs better management.
A three-member committee has been made to choose the CEO. The members are retired Justice Pradeep Kohli, former Lieutenant General Vishnukant Chaturvedi, and former Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust chairman Suresh Haware. They will pick three names, and then the Trust will choose one person.
Several major temples in India, including Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, and Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan, already have professional administrators or CEOs managing daily operations. The Ram Temple Trust hopes to adopt a similar model to improve transparency and efficiency
Why Does the Temple Need a CEO?
Till now, the Trust members have been handling all the daily work. But now the temple is getting bigger and more people are visiting every day. Because of this, the Trust thinks one full-time person should look after everything.
The CEO will take care of the office work, money, staff, and daily management. The person will also work with government officials and make sure things are running properly.
The Trust hopes this will make the system better and clearer.
What Happened Before This?
The decision came after the donation theft case. After the case, General Secretary Champat Rai and trustee Anil Mishra resigned. Krishna Mohan is now looking after the work until a new system is ready.
Police are still investigating the case. Some people have been arrested, and cash and other valuables have been recovered. The police are also checking where the missing money went.
What Happens Next?
Many famous temples in India already have professional people to manage their daily work. The Ram Temple Trust also wants to follow the same idea.
Every day, thousands of people visit the Ram Temple. In the coming years, this number can become even bigger. So the Trust feels better management is needed.
The new CEO is expected to help the temple run in a better way, keep the donation system safe, and make people trust the temple management again. It is a big step, and many people will be watching who gets this important job.
