In a tragic incident in Bengaluru, a 55-year-old man jumped to his death from the second floor of a mall after being overwhelmed by financial difficulties. The man, identified as T.C. Manjunath from the Ullal suburb, was reportedly drowning in debt due to losses at his electronics shop.

The Incident and Suicide Note

The incident took place on Thursday night at around 9 PM at the Minister Mall in Malleswaram. According to the police, Manjunath climbed over the railing and jumped from the second floor. A suicide note was found in his pocket, where he stated that no one was responsible for his death.

Despite the mall's security guards acting quickly and rushing him to a nearby hospital, Manjunath was declared dead upon arrival. Preliminary investigations suggest that financial stress, particularly his unpaid debts, led to this drastic decision.

Investigation Underway

The police have lodged a case of unnatural death and are following up with further investigation. A senior police officer mentioned that it is suspected that the immense pressure from the losses in his businesses and the burden of debt had driven Manjunath to take his own life.
