 Diljit Dosanjh's Jaipur Concert: Fake Tickets and ED Raids

Ahead of much-awaited Diljit Dosanjh concert in Jaipur on November 3, one major ticket scam has come to light. ED now enters the scene and uncovers evidence of massive money manipulation relating to fake tickets for this event.Tickets which carry Diljit's names come with a price that ranges from ₹3,000 to ₹15,000, while black marketers sold it for ₹50,000 to ₹2 lakh. On Saturday the Enforcement Directorate conducted raids at over 13 locations in Delhi and Punjab, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Punjab and Bengaluru as an part of its investigation pertaining large scale fraudulent transactions as are allegedly linked to scam selling fake tickets.
During the raid, the ED detained several persons and seized mobile phones and laptops. It has been further found that online transactions with huge amounts were being routed in connection with these racketeering.
The development follows an FIR filed by BookMyShow, and the ticket sale was thus inquired. It came to light that fake tickets were being sold on various portals, misleading people for selfish motives.
Frauds allegedly duplicated the tickets on BookMyShow and began selling them on social media. Customers, after selling these tickets, became suspicious and verification ensued that proved them to be fake. At this time, BookMyShow immediately addressed the public and protected the consumers by not letting them cheat.
