The Food Safety Department has taken note of the video and is currently searching for the shop in question.

The video, posted by a social media user, claims that the potatoes being cleaned in this manner are used in samosas sold at the shop. The post has sparked outrage, with several commenters pointing out that the man may have worn the same slippers in unsanitary places like toilets.

Dr. Arvind Yadav, the Food Commissioner, stated that efforts are being made to locate the shop. Once found, an inspection will be conducted to assess the cleanliness and hygiene of the premises. If necessary, food samples will also be taken for testing.
