Haryana Vijay Sankalp Rally: Rahul Gandhi Unites Hooda and Selja, Congress Sends Message of Unity
Rahul Gandhi's Emotional Moment at Haryana Vijay Sankalp Rally: Congress Unites, BJP Criticized
During the Haryana Vijay Sankalp Rally, an emotional moment unfolded as Rahul Gandhi brought senior Congress leaders Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Kumari Selja together, holding their hands in a powerful gesture of unity. This symbolic act occurred at the rally's conclusion while the leaders were addressing the public, emphasizing Congress's focus on solidarity ahead of the upcoming elections. The crowd responded with applause, recognizing the message of party unity.
Rahul Gandhi’s Strong Criticism of BJP
At the rally, Rahul Gandhi launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He claimed that the BJP holds control over smaller regional parties in Haryana, comparing the political landscape to a remote-controlled game. He framed the upcoming elections as a battle of ideologies, where Congress stands for the rights of farmers, laborers, and the poor, while the BJP works to protect the interests of big industrialists like Adani and Ambani.
Gandhi also referenced his recent visit to the United States, where he met many young individuals from Haryana who haven’t been able to return home for 10 years. He pointed out that these youths had to spend nearly 50 lakh rupees to move abroad, often selling land or borrowing money to do so. He attributed this exodus to the lack of job opportunities in Haryana, forcing young people to seek employment overseas at a high cost.
Priyanka Gandhi Targets BJP's Broken Promises
Priyanka Gandhi also took aim at the BJP during the rally, criticizing the ruling party for failing to deliver on its promises during its 10 years in power. She highlighted how the people of Haryana have only received lofty promises from the Modi government, which have largely remained unfulfilled. She called out the BJP for ignoring critical issues affecting farmers, women, and youth, as well as the ongoing struggles faced by Indian wrestlers.
In her speech, Priyanka Gandhi urged the people of Haryana to remain vigilant against false promises. She emphasized that the state now needs concrete action, not empty assurances. She further assured the crowd that if Congress comes to power, the concerns of the people will be addressed on a priority basis, particularly focusing on resolving the problems faced by farmers and women.
The Vijay Sankalp Rally served as a platform for the Congress party to showcase its unity and position itself as a strong alternative to the BJP in Haryana, while also addressing key issues such as unemployment, farmers' struggles, and unfulfilled promises by the current government.
