A committed IPS officer from the Rajasthan cadre, Jyestha Maitreyi hails from Guna district in Madhya Pradesh. Holding an All-India rank of 156 in the UPSC 2018 exams, Maitreyi had a long-standing commitment to public service and joined the police service. As stated by the DSP, SC-ST cell, probe will look into the extent to which officers are involved and the motive behind it.
