Accusations of Political Manipulation: Abdullah accused the Centre of attempting to take undue credit for local electoral participation, calling it a betrayal of the people who are voting "despite" the government's actions over the past years.

Voting in Full Swing: The second phase of the elections is taking place across 26 seats in six districts of Jammu and Kashmir, a critical moment as the region votes for the first time since the abrogation of Article 370.

Diplomats on a 'Guided Tour': Abdullah criticized the diplomatic visit as a "guided tour" and questioned why foreign journalists are not permitted to cover the elections while diplomats are invited.

Local Resilience Amidst Challenges: The NC vice president noted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are participating in elections despite years of government-led harassment and humiliation.

Hope for Voter Turnout: Abdullah expressed optimism for voter turnout, noting that the enthusiasm seen in political rallies should translate into active participation at the polls.

Equal Importance of Election Phases: Stressing the importance of all election phases, Abdullah mentioned that every voting day holds significance for the party, and not just for him personally.

Responding to PDP's Allegations: Abdullah responded to allegations of bogus voting from PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti, suggesting that the PDP has acknowledged their diminishing impact in the elections.

Alliance Politics and Expectations: He pointed out that the NC is in a pre-poll alliance with the Congress and expressed disappointment over the Congress's lack of campaigning efforts in Jammu.

Focus on Jammu: While welcoming Rahul Gandhi's visit to Kashmir, Abdullah advised the Congress to prioritize their efforts in Jammu, asserting that outcomes in this region are more crucial for the party's success.
