The seat-sharing arrangement for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections within the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has been finalized. According to the agreement, All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) will contest on 10 seats, Janata Dal (United) or JDU has been allotted 2 seats, and the Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) led by Chirag Paswan will contest from the Chatra constituency. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will field candidates on the remaining seats.

Union Minister and BJP’s election in-charge for Jharkhand, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, confirmed the development, stating, "In Jharkhand, the BJP, All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU), Janata Dal (United), and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) will fight the elections together. The seat-sharing arrangement has been agreed upon, and the announcement of candidates will follow shortly."

With this alliance in place, the NDA is gearing up for a united contest in the Jharkhand Assembly elections. The BJP is expected to contest the majority of the seats, while its alliance partners will focus on their respective constituencies, aiming to strengthen the coalition’s chances in the state.
